Item 15. Establishment of Rosherville Repairs & Maintenance Local Authority Trading Company (Part B)

·       To consider the robustness of the proposals.

·       To evaluate the impact that the establishment of this company may have on staffing resource and existing service provision.

Minutes:

The Overview Scrutiny Committee considered, and discussed in detail, the Part B information pertaining to the establishment of Rosherville Repairs & Maintenance Local Authority Trading Company.

 

The Committee considered the robustness of the proposals and evaluated the impact that the establishment of the company may have on staffing resource and existing service provision.

 

 

Resolved that the Committee noted the Part B report on the establishment of Rosherville Repairs & Maintenance Local Authority Trading Company

Establishment of Rosherville Repairs & Maintenance Local Authority Trading Company

Decision:

1.    that the formation of Rosherville Repairs Limited subsidiary company be approved;

2.    that the provision of seed funding for the company to the sum of £66,623 be approved; and

3.    Authority be provided to the Director (Housing) in conjunction with the Rosherville Limited Company Secretary to make the necessary arrangements to register the company with Companies House.

 

Minutes:

The Cabinet was presented with a business case, on behalf of the Board of Rosherville Limited, for the formation of a subsidiary company – Rosherville Repairs & Maintenance Limited.

 

            Resolved that:-

 

1.    the formation of the Rosherville Repairs & Maintenance Limited subsidiary company, including the provision of £66,623 seed funding to assist the company with initial set up costs be approved; and

2.    authority be provided for the Director (Housing) in conjunction with the Rosherville Limited Company Secretary to make the necessary arrangements to register the company with Companies House.
